Below are the guided fishing trips, Horn island day trips, and Horn island camping trips that I offer. If you may be interested in arranging a custom trip that is not listed, we can usually work with the client to create a custom trip. At times I have last minute availability for a trip that might not be listed on my online calendar so always give me a call.
Also, I network with some of the most respected fishing guides in the area. If you have a large group lets talk. What is included:
Fuel, tackle, bait (live bait 99% of the time), ice, water, fishing license, and free fish processing and packaging are included. No separately purchased fishing license are required while onboard. Cash or card can be used to pay the total after the trip. If paying with a card, there will be a 4% processing fee. I will never have hidden/additional fees for fuel, live bait , or fish cleaning.

FAQ: What to bring? Drinks, Snacks, sun lotion (no spray sunscreen, no tanning oils!), sunglasses, hat, appropriate clothing, cooler to keep in vehicle if you plan to bring home fish, and a good attitude. There are local restaurants that will cook your fresh catch. Many will fly home with their fillets by carrying on a soft cooler and draining water off the ice before going through security. Please no dirty shoes or shoes that will mark the deck.

Guided Inshore/Barrier Island/Near Coastal Fishing:

The Mississippi Coast offers some amazing saltwater inshore and near coastal fishing throughout the year. We go to where the fish are throughout the year in target of speckled trout, redfish, flounder, sheepshead, black drum, white trout, southern and gulf kingfish, florida pompano, tripletail, cobia, jack crevalle, spanish mackerel and many other species. We mostly use live bait on these trips but we often will use lures as well. With an advanced request, and seasonally, we are able to have productive wade fishing trips as well if that is what you would prefer. During certain times we are able to sightfish as well. There is no limit of where we may go to find a hot bite. Often times we are fishing around our barrier islands (12 miles plus offshore) or further, near the coastline, in Biloxi back bay, or (especially during fall and winter months) up the bayous and coastal rivers. Also, by request, if you want to split your time and fish just a few hours and then spend a few hours relaxing at one of our barrier islands on the beach we can accommodate that as well.
The bottom line is this, I will do whatever is needed to get us on the fish and to have a successful and fun trip given the conditions of the day.

Red snapper fishing is a great adventure for all ages and is tons of fun for you and your crew. Red snapper fishing is one of our most consistent bites and most popular trips. They are hard fighting and delicious table fare. On the 6 hour red snapper trip we travel approximately 30 miles one way from the dock. 5:30 AM and 1:30 Pm trips available, both produce equally good bites for this species.

On this trip you will have plenty of time to catch red snapper but we often try to target mangrove snapper in the 2-10lb range or other species as well. Mangrove snapper are one of my favorite fish to target and to get customers involved in the technique it takes to catch them.
If the mangrove snapper bite has been off and the speckled trout or flounder bite is hot or more your cup of tea we may target these or other species as well to go along with red snapper. Many days during these trips we end up with a variety of species in the box. We can also dedicate more time into trying to target larger red snapper during this trip. Any way you look at it, this is the trip that will provide you with the most adventure and memories targeting red snapper offshore as well as other species to go along with them.

Book this trip to have a fun day at the locals getaway spot, Horn Island. Party, explore, wade, play, bird watch, or simply hangout and relax at one of the most beautiful Gulf Islands National Seashore barrier islands. It is located approximately 12 miles offshore of the mainland and is only accessible by private or charter boat.
Horn island is known for its beauty and for us locals, the "Funday Sundays". This is where many locals go on the weekends to escape it all, party, or to hangout with their families and friends during any warm weekend. Deep history with pristine natural sand beaches and often gorgeous clear water makes this island a favorite of everyone who is lucky enough to get to visit it. This trip is great for adults and children. Alcohol is allowed but no glass bottles will leave the boat.

Horn Island Camping:
We offer drop off and pick up services for campers wanting to camp in seclusion and explore the Gulf Island National Seashore islands. These barrier islands are located approximately 10-12 miles offshore of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Typical camping trips are at Horn Island (if you would like to camp at another barrier island please give me a call). Some of the things they offer are great natural sand beaches, seasonly clear water, hiking trails, and bird watching along with a deep history. Call to discuss or book your custom camping get-a-way!

*Policy starting Feb 20, 2020. To reserve a date and book a trip we keep a valid credit card on file. You may book online through the link in the menu. The amount in full is due immediately after the trip has been completed. If using a credit card to complete the transaction a fee of 4% will be added to the total.

*If the client cancels or reschedules the trip prior to 1 week before the trip then there will be no fee charged.
*If the client cancels or reschedules the trip within 1 week of the trip, or is considered a no-show, they will be charged the full price of the trip they were scheduled for.

* A no-show will be any client who does not make contact with the captain by, at latest, 30 minutes after the agreed upon departure time. Contact is only made if the client actually receives a response back from me via phone, email, or text . I will make an attempt to reach the client if they are not present at the agreed upon departure time. Contact does not mean a one way text, email, or voicemail from the client in which I have not responded back to.

*It is the sole discretion of the captain to cancel a trip due to weather, mechanical malfunctions, or any other just reason. If so, there will be no charge and another date can be scheduled.
